We all know the sea can be a bit unpredictable. Yo u never know what's going to happen and when it's going to happen. The same goes for the 'Arc Kinetic;' an olden-days, pirate-like ship. A storm rolled over the horizon and they were stranded in the middle. When an island popped into view, they automatically dropped anchor and parked their ship. Now, they did have technology and radioed for help. Their boat wasn't in the best of shape. What they hadn't realized, though, was that they had stumbled upon an extraordinary island; one that hadn't been placed on maps yet. The oddest part, though, was that when they left, they craved for the island; they wanted to go back, even if there was nothing there. Well, that's what everyone had thought. Searches were discontinued after parties of 20 or even more would go missing; no trace left behidn what-so-ever. They hadn't known there were other people on the island. So they tested their boundaries by leaving things scattered around. The things that weren't over the boundary weren't touched at all, but the things that were were torn to shreds and thrown across the camps. So a fence was built, trying to keep out whatever was on the other side of the boundary. It took a while before the island could be declared safe and buildings could be put up. Parts of the city died, however, because of little use. Many mainlanders tended to grasp desperately onto their old traditions. The island is powered by solar energy and there are very few cars. It is a really nature-preserving place because when they started to build a factory, peices would go missing and workers would be killed and hung up on display. The city usually has a lot of extra power and every house and building has a back-up generator, so there really isn't anythign to worry about. But it didn't make the island normal. All of the people that had come had felt the same attraction the sailors had. Vampires had it the worse; it was like a craving that wouldn't go away. All they had to do was see a picture. As soon as the vampires arrived, they were aware of four other presences; the humans, the animals, and two other strange auras. When they checked it out, they got their answer at the expense of a couple of lives. The other two presenses were shapeshifters and what they called 'Natives;' a super-athletic and agile group of people that basically lived in the wild. The groups are separated by the fence but what should happen if the fence is taken down? Utter chaos, mass murder, clashes and dominance fighting. But, for now, the fence is up. And all that's left for me to say is... Welcome to Nowhere.

Staff! Alright, we need staff, apparently. I honestly suck at handling this stuff. I want to post my ass off and then there's like AD HERE! Then there's character creations and moderating boards. So, here are auditions. Moderators Moderators only get certain boards. What this job is;; Checking boards to see if people have reached post minimums Making sure rules are followed Helping people out Checking to see if everything is right Requirements;; Have to be on at least once a week Global Moderator Global moderators are in charge of moderating the joining/advertising boards and are able to delete posts if, after their warning, they haven't changed it. What This job includes;; Accepting/Declining characters Accepting/Deleting ads Warning/Deleting Posts that don't follow the rules Check out every board to see if everything's right I know I'm forgetting something...0.o Requirements;; Must be on at least 3 times a week. Must have at least 10 posts IC Must understand ALL of the rules and will follow them Must make other people follow them Can advertise Co-admin position is not available at this time I think that's about it.
